Northwest Reno Real Estate — Somersett, Sky Vista & Mae Anne

Northwest Reno is one of the most searched corners of the city, and for good reason. Somersett brings golf, trails, and a full recreation center; the neighborhoods off Mae Anne and McCarran offer established value; and the newer builds climbing toward the foothills come with views you cannot get on the valley floor.

The tradeoffs are real and worth understanding before you write an offer. HOA and SID assessments vary sharply between subdivisions here, and two homes a few streets apart can carry very different monthly carrying costs. I go through those numbers with buyers before we tour, not after.

For sellers, northwest Reno competes heavily against new construction. Pricing has to account for what a builder is offering that month in incentives, or a resale home simply sits.
